Google now wants you to focus on the featured snippets Google is now focusing on

On Wednesday, Google introduced a major overhaul of its search results page that infuses the screen with artificial intelligence.

The new version pushes the rest of Google’s links far down the page and away from the screen.

This ecosystem relies on people clicking through Google links to read articles with ads on them so that the publisher can get paid by the advertiser.

While the current version of Google search results pages isn’t perfect, it’s better than the old search engine.

I have even less faith in Google’s AI suggestions given that the company’s flagship chatbot, Bard, seems to me to be wrong more often than it’s right.

The following week, we’ll see what changes Google has in store for us in the search results section.
