In an interview aired on CNBC, Elon Musk calls remote work “morally wrong” and “bullshit.”
He argues that it is unfair to those workers who can’t work from home.
Musk previously banned remote work at Twitter, a company he recently purchased.
But after covid, Musk took a hard line against remote work, as well as other preventative measures like mask-wearing.
In the interview, he is more animated than usual, arguing that remote work was counter-productive.
After acquiring Twitter, Musk set the same strict policy just as he was laying off over three-fourths of the workforce.
Musk previously had banned remote working at the company.
However, he has since come back to promoting it
