The dolphins’ pens were destroyed and it’s unclear whether the animals escaped or not. But if they did, they’ll likely be fine living in the Black Sea. Meanwhile, the Russian navy is also using beluga whales for their military exploits. One of these belugas, nicknamed Hvaldimir, escaped from his enclosure and was found exploring the waters around Sweden.
