Prehistoric Planet 2 is like the first season.
It’s a weeklong event, with new episodes releasing daily starting on May 22nd.
The difference, of course, is that this show uses CG technology to recreate life-like scenes instead of real-life animals.
This allows it to be more educational and approachable.
Really, what PrehistoricPlanet 2 shows is that the first seasons was not successful purely because of novelty.
It was successful because people wanted to know about extinct creatures and the sciences behind them.
That was all true last year, and it remains true with Prehistoric Planet2.It’s still largely a show more focused on entertainment than education, but now it goes a step further in explaining some of the science behind the show.
