Amazon is building a search experience that uses AI to communicate with users.

Amazon is pitching these changes to search as a once in a generation transformation for Search, just like the Mosaic browser made the Internet easier to engage with three decades ago.

And just last week, Google showed how its new AI-powered Search Generative Experience can create buying guides from a single search.

That said, it’s unclear when this new experience might actually be released or what it might look like.

Amazon is Pushing These Changes to Search as absolutely massive.

Amazon says in a press release that this will be a Once in a Generation Transformation for Search.

Similar changes to shopping experience are being rolled out across all of Google’s platforms including Maps and Search Engine Optimizer.

It’s unclear at this point whether these new search experiences will ever be officially released
