The Boring Company has gotten the go-ahead to build more tunnels and stations for its underground transportation system in Clark County.
Its goal is to alleviate road traffic by moving some of the rush-hour traffic underground.
So far, though, it’s been rather underwhelming.
The company claims it is designing a tunnel boring machine that can dig up to seven miles a day and it claims it can do this at a speed of seven miles per day.
Still, it makes a great deal of money on the side, which is why they’re willing to spend all that money.
Take that, Tesla.
Here’s a little sample: In chapter two, Musk explains how he plans to use electricity generated by digging tunnels to power his proposed electric cars.
It sounds great, but is really just a waste of money.
