OpenAI has launched an iOS app for ChatGPT, promising that an Android version will be available soon.
The app syncs chat history with the web and supports voice input.
It works on both iPhones and iPads and can be downloaded from the App Store here.
Some outside estimates suggest the app attracted 100 million users by January this year, though OpenAI has never confirmed these figures.
The welcome screen for the Chat GPT app warns users not to trust the system’s answers or share sensitive information.
In February, OpenAI launched a premium subscription for the app, which offers priority access to replies generated using the company’s latest language model, GPT-4.
This includes features such as voice input and supported by OpenAI’s open-source speech recognition model Whisper.
