Microsoft has no shame: Bing faked an AI answer to spit on my ‘Chrome

I try to search for Chrome in the Bing search bar on my browser.

What I get instead is a message that says the Bing AI chatbot is searching for Bing features.

It shows me a bunch of ads, which take up a lot of screen space.

This is kind of weird…

I mean, it’s confusing, especially since I’m using Microsoft’s search engine.

But you get the point.

Why would Microsoft want to associate its search engine with an ad copy of a competitor?

Oh, and here’s how much screen space this ad takes up: Every search result link is pushed entirely off my screen by this canned ad copy.

Again, we have to remind ourselves that we’re using the best search engine in the world.
