The family of Formula 1 legend Michael Schumacher is taking legal action against Die Aktuelle, a German tabloid magazine, for publishing an AI-generated “interview” with Schumacher.
The magazine misled readers by suggesting the piece was an authentic interview with the record-breaking racer, who has not been seen in public since a 2013 skiing accident resulted in a serious brain injury.
The Schumacher family is taking legal action against the publication for insensitively describing his recovery from the accident and for violating his privacy.
