Google Meet has added the ability to switch off individual feeds to help reduce distractions during a meeting.
This includes blocking out virtual backgrounds or animals that might appear in someone’s webcam.
It won’t notify the person whose feed has been switched off, and the meeting layout won’t change for anyone else on the call.
This feature is available on both mobile and desktop apps.
Additionally, it’s now possible to block out all feeds except for the presenters on mobile devices.
