Google has launched Security AI Workbench, a cybersecurity suite powered by Sec-PaLM, a specialized large language model (LLM).
This tool is designed to leverage generative AI models to gain better visibility into the threat landscape, such as analyzing malicious scripts, flagging false negatives and false positives, and providing near-instant analysis of findings and possible attack paths.
It also utilizes machine learning models to detect and respond to API abuse and business logic attacks.
It is built on Google Cloud’s Vertex AI infrastructure, providing customers with data control and enterprise-grade capabilities.
This development follows announcements of a new unit called Google DeepMind and of GitLab’s plans to integrate AI into their platform.
