The Escalade IQ has no option for CarPlay or Android Auto.
At least, that’s what the company tells us.
We received email confirmation that CarPlay and Android Auto weren’t going to make it into the Escalaade IQ from GM’s East Coast communications representative, Paige Tatulli.
SUCCESS.
There’s no such thing as an Android Auto or CarPlay in the new Cadillac.
Tesla offers a similar feature, but it doesn’t work quite as well.
Google built-in supports Google Maps navigation and some Google Play apps; you can log in to these using your phone on the dash.
It doesn’t support, however, CarPAT/Android Auto.
Chevy said earlier this year that it was going to remove both Android Auto and CarPlay from future vehicles.
