ChatGPT now defaults to Bing for search

Microsoft and OpenAI have teamed up to make Bing the default search experience for ChatGPT.

The company says the new search engine will be rolling out to Plus users today and will be enabled for all free chat clients soon.

It also notes that this is the second big win for Microsoft as Samsung recently ditched Google for Bing Search.

The partnership with OpenAI follows Microsoft investing $1.2 billion in the company earlier this year.
