Astronaut Captures Mysterious Flash of Light in Space

The TLE, or Transient Luminous Event, was captured by Mogensen using an “event camera” that works more like a human eye than a regular camera. The study aims to better understand how lightning in the upper atmosphere affects the concentration of greenhouse gases.
