Fletcher had been one of the pioneers of the zero trust movement and pleaded guilty last month to a number of charges relating to his role in facilitating fraud and transferring criminal property.

He had created a channel on Toroda’s website, iSpoof, which allowed criminals to defraud unsuspecting victims out of millions of pounds.

Detective Superintendent Helen Rance of Scotland Yard said that through this channel, Fletcher created a gateway for thousands of criminals to engage in fraud and bilking innocent victims.
