Microsoft has been moving its business customers into the cloud with Windows 365, but now it’s trying to do the same for consumers.
With Windows 11, they’ll include support for Windows 365 Boot, a feature that lets devices log in to a cloud PC instance at boot rather than their local version of Windows.
Windows 365 Switch is also built into Windows 11 to integrate cloud PCs into the task view.
Windows Copilot sits at the side of Windows 11 and can summarize content you’re viewing in apps, rewrite it, or even explain it Microsoft also wants to make sure that consumers are aware of the importance of cloud computing in their personal lives.
With upcoming updates, Windows 11 will support Windows 365 Sync and Windows 365 Datacenter Manager will let you create, edit, and share documents stored on a cloud-connected device.
