The U.S. Federal Bureau of Investigation warns that Barracuda Networks customers whose devices have been patched with the latest firmware update may be at risk of being compromised by Chinese hacking groups.
Update: Baracuda issues a statement reiterating its advice to customers: Out of an abundance of caution, and in furtherance of our containment strategy, we recommend impacted customers replace their compromised appliance.
It also warns that if an ESG appliance is displaying a notification in the User Interface indicating it’s vulnerable, that means the appliance had indicators of compromise.
