Sven Estridsen, the last Viking king of Denmark, was supposedly buried next to his mother. But new evidence from a 2007 study suggests that the woman in the pillar next to him wasn’t his mother after all. She was probably one of his daughters-in-law, both of whom were named Estrid and became queens of Denmark. So who’s buried next to the last Viking king? We may never know for sure.
