A new remote access trojan called QwixxRAT is being advertised for sale on the darknet.
It’s easy to install and it collects sensitive data, which is then sent to the attacker’s Telegram bot.
Uptycs warns customers that it can be harmful.
Prices are set at 150 rubles for weekly access and 500 ruble for a lifetime license .
There’s also a clipper in the tool that allows the attacker to conduct illicit fund transfers from cryptocurrency wallets.
µThe tool is offered for sale by a threat actor named Thackeray on Telegram and Discord platforms.
Once installed, the RAT stealthily collects sensitive information, which thiks its way to the attackers’ Telegram bot and gives them unauthorized access to the victim’s personal information.
