Poe, the chatbot platform created by Quora, has gotten an update that adds features such as support for Mac OS X and the ability to have multiple simultaneous conversations with the same AI bot.
OpenAI also sits on the board of Poe’s parent company, so D’Angelo thinks that the number of AI bots will continue to grow over time.
Here are some highlights from the update:The new Mac app works very similarly to Poe’s web and mobile apps, which let you chat with bots like OpenAI’s ChatGPT-4 alongside Anthropic’s Claude.
Poe now supports MacOSX as well as standard browsers like Firefox and Opera.
Adam D’Angelo, the CEO of Poe, also serves on the Board of Trustees of OpenAI
