Oak Grove Ventures, a family office backed by renowned crypto and fintech industry veterans, invests in a $60 million fund.
The firm’s team includes notable figures such as Shawn Shi, the co-founder of Alchemy Pay; Ethan W, the technical lead of Libra; Sally Wanga, the former Vice President of Ryze Labs; Zac Pan, ex-VP of Lightspeed China; Michael Li, technical advisor and former VP of Coinbase; and many others.
The new fund will invest in newer companies and protocols in pre-seed and Series A rounds.
It will also invest in late-stage investments from Series B onward.
This follows Blockchain Capital’s successful launch of two funds earlier in the year.
Both funds have received support from traditional institutions like Visa, PayPal, and secured investments from esteemed entities such as university endowments and sovereign wealth funds.
