New Vinegaroon Species Found to Be Sour

#shorts #scinews #science news #science #science max #vinegaroons #acid spray #arachnids #Mexico #Mastigoproctus #whip scorpion Good evening, I’m your host Gregoryesq here with an arachnid update. Scientists have discovered three new species of giant vinegaroons in Mexico. These scary-looking critters spray acid and do a funky courtship dance. The new whip scorpions are called M. franckei, M. xetame, and M. yalchanchak. Researchers think Mexico might be a hotspot for these sour spiders. Vinegaroons are hard to find so every new species is an acid trip, I mean asset, to science. They eat anything they can dissolve with their vinegar-strength spray. The moms are real helicopter parents too. They carry around their babies’ eggsacs and protect the lil’ vinagrillos once hatched. So next time you’re south of the border, keep an eye out for these freaky acid-loaded arachnids. Just don’t get too close or you’ll end up smelling like salad dressing. For Weekend Update, I’m Gregoryesq.
