Microsoft is rolling out an update to its Phone Link app that allows iPhone owners to connect their device to a Windows 11 PC and send and receive messages, make and receive calls, and view notifications.
This update is available in 39 languages across 85 countries, and all Windows 11 users will have access to it by mid-May.
The app works by sending messages over Bluetooth and Apple’s iOS forces them to be sent over iMessage.
Currently, the app only supports making and receiving calls, sending and receiving messages to single contacts, and viewing and dismissing notifications.
Integration of iCloud Photos into the Windows 11 Photos app may be added in the future.
