They tried softening the blow by offering a free year of storage, but that didn’t cut it. Kinda like offering someone a Werther’s Original after you kick them in the shins. Looks like Microsoft finally realized they’d have to pry those family photos from users’ cold, dead hands. So they backed off – for now. But you just know they’ll try sneaking some other change through when we’re not looking. So eyes peeled, people!
