Mammalian Embryos Grown in Space for the First Time

The results are in, and the embryos did indeed grow, but they didn’t do so well. The survival rate was significantly lower in space than on Earth. So, while we can now say that it’s possible for mammal embryos to develop in microgravity, we still have a long way to go before we can say that it’s safe for pregnant women to go to space.
