Mac Users Beware: Malvertising Campaign Spreads Atomic Stealer macOS Malware

A new malvertising campaign has been observed distributing an updated version of a macOS stealer malware called Atomic Stealer.

Atomic Stealer costs $1,000 per month and can be purchased from a reputable reseller.

The company behind the campaign, SentinelOne, notes that it also targets Chrome and Firefox browsers.

Similar malware latching onto the same delivery mechanismAs previously reported, other malware such as DarkGate also uses the same advertising-powered website to get their hands on stolen information.

Anti-MalwareRadar reports that more and more ransomware is appearing in the wild.

In response, security experts warn that this wave of ransomware is likely due to the rapid increase in the amount of money being invested in cryptos in the United States.
