Google Slides is getting native support for notes

Google is adding an annotation feature to its Slides presentation software that lets you doodle on your work while presenting it.

Previously, you had to use Chrome extensions like Annotate and Web Paint to draw over your document in order to present it.

With this new feature, you can present it as you would a webinar.

It’s free and will be available in the coming weeks.

In the meantime, people can find ways to implement the feature in their presentations using third-party tools like Adobe Illustrator or Powerpoint slideshows.

The company explains it’s trying to make presentations more user-friendly by offering features like doodling on slides that aren’t directly built into Slides.

We’re not sure if we’d like to try it out, but if you do, let us know in the comments.
