In order to comply with European law, Google is making some changes to its ads transparency center and making data more readily available to researchers.
Specifically, the company is expanding the access it has to its Ads Transparency Center for researchers and providing additional information on targeting ads served in the European Union.
The company is also launching a new Transparency Center to learn about its policies related to content moderation and reporting on its largest online platforms and search engine in line with DSA requirements.
Google says that it will be rolling out these changes as part of its commitment to greater transparency and greater compliance with the EU’s Digital Services Act.
Ad transparency was one of the first areas of transparency Google invested significant time and effort to develop.
This latest update builds on the company’s efforts to make ads transparent and easier to find across its various platforms.
