Google Chrome Update Released to Address Second Zero-Day Attack

Google has released emergency fixes to address a high-severity zero-day flaw in its Chrome web browser.

The flaw, discovered by Google’s Threat Analysis Group (TAG), is an integer overflow in an open source 2D graphics library.

The tech giant is aware of active exploitation of the flaw and recommends that users upgrade to the latest version for Windows, macOS, and Linux.

This marks the second Chrome zero-day vulnerability to be exploited by malicious actors in recent weeks.
