On October 14, there will be an annular eclipse of the sun.
This is a type of solar eclipse where the moon is partially covered by the sun and you can see a partial solar eclipse.
Even if you’re not near the path of annularity, you’ll still be able to see a total solar eclipse because the moon will be closest to the sun, the furthest point from Earth .
If you miss this one, there’s going to be another solar eclipse in just six months–on April 8, 2024.
