The Classiscam program has earned criminal actors $64.5 million in illicit earnings since its inception in 2019, according to Trend Micro.
The company’s research shows that the criminal actors make use of sophisticated techniques such as adding a balance check, completed by the victim, to the phishing web pages to help them load up their stolen information onto the victims’ pages.
Classesiscam operations have evolved over time and different tactics, techniques, and procedures have been introduced, the Singapore-based cybersecurity company said.
