The U.S. government’s CISA has added eight new vulnerabilities to its list of known exploits for mobile devices, including six flaws affecting Samsung phones and two involving D-Link devices.
It’s not clear yet if any of the flaws are being exploited in the wild.
It’s worth noting that Google originally disclosed a set of flaws in November 2022 that it said were weaponized as part of an exploit chain aimed at Samsung handsets.
All the flaws have been patched as of 2021, however, so it’s not immediately clear how the flaws in Samsung phones are being used in the real worldGoogle Project Zero originally published code to exploit these vulnerabilities in December 2022.
The company didn’t disclose how many people were exploiting them, however
