OpenAI has officially returned to Italy after meeting the data protection authority’s demands.
The AI chatbot service was temporarily blocked in Italy due to data protection laws.
The company has implemented a number of measures to ensure user privacy, such as filters to remove hate speech, age verification, and a new privacy setting that allows users to turn off chat history.
The European Data Protection Board (EDPB) has also set up a task force to continue its fact-finding activities regarding OpenAI.
