In the latest update to the ChatGPT app, OpenAI says subscribers who pay for the Plus plan get up-to-date information from the web.
That includes information pulled from Bing, which is the default search engine for the app.
The free version of the app will only be able to fetch information until 2021.Microsoft made a $1.2 billion investment in OpenAI earlier this year and announced at its Build event that Bing would become the default Search engine for chat services such as Chat GPT.
It already had an integration with the web app, but now it’s available in the ChatgPT app on iOS.The company also notes that the feature was previously available as a beta to Plus users in the Chatscript web app.
