The bees literally drop to the ground when attacked, causing the wasps to lose their grip so the bees can wrestle them until they buzz off. Despite winning each battle, the war rages on as the hornets’ presence still limits the colonies’ growth. So while the bees’ bodacious defense is totally tubular, those bogus wasps still come out on top in the end. Bummer!
