Binance vs. SEC Hearing Date

The hearing date for the SEC lawsuit against Binance has been set for September 18 at 1:00 PM ET.

Motion 95 and Motion 102, which seek to secure specific sensitive information filed by Binance’s affiliates, will be heard by Judge Zia M. Faruqui.

The SEC will also ask permission to file certain documents under seal during the proceeding.

In a filing made on September 12, Binance Holdings and Binance.

US proposed a protective order to govern how sealed documents are treated and disclosed during litigation.

However, the US SEC has a different stance and is asking for much more information from binance.binance.us.

Since the case began in June, the Securities and Exchange Commission has charged Binance and its chief executive officer, Changpeng Zhao, with 13 charges accusing them of violating securities regulations.

Many executives have quit or been removed from their positions as a result of the SEC’s charges.

Layoffs have been announced by several companies.
