Augie, an AI-powered video creation platform, has a new feature: voice cloning.
With help from Eleven Labs, Aug X lets anyone record their own voice and then clone it to use in other short videos.
Voice cloning is not new; Samsung even lets people use an AI voice to respond to calls.
However, now companies like Aug X are integrating the technology into more full-featured services.
So another person in the same organization has to rerecord their spokesperson’s voice on their Augie account to clone their speech.
For now, everyone using Augie has access to the voice cloning feature.
It’s free and anyone can use it for any video creation as long as they have an account with the company.
The company describes the product in a press release
