NASA’s Lucy mission has been full of surprises lately. First, they discovered that the asteroid they were studying was actually three asteroids in one. And then, they found out that one of those asteroids was actually two asteroids in one! Scientists are baffled by this strange new system, but they’re having a lot of fun trying to figure it out. Lucy is currently on its way back to Earth, where it will use our planet as a slingshot to get to its next destination: the Trojan asteroids.
