This bad boy is made from off-the-shelf parts and NASA’s own custom modifications. It can withstand any temperature on the moon and has buttons designed for astronauts wearing space gloves. The camera was tested on the volcanic island of Lanzarote in both bright and dark conditions to simulate the moon. The old moon cameras took 1400 pictures, but this one will take way more because it’s so much better. The team is confident that this camera will take some incredible photos and footage on the moon.
