SushiSwap goes beyond Ethereum compatibility, adding support for Aptos, a protocol alternative to the Ethereum Virtual Machine.
Now Sushi can exchange assets on top of the peer-to-peer ledger.
The companies announce that they will integrate their exchange, SushiXswap, and market making tools such as the SushiAMM and SushiEZRAD, into Aaptos.
This integration enables Sushi to trade on top-layer blockchain Apts, making it the first time the exchange has been integrated on a blockchain without Ethereum.
While Sushi aims to improve the cross-chain trading experience by offering features such as an AMM and swap spreads, AptOS needs the DeFi traction Sushi has to offer.
Both companies have significant amounts of invested capital in order to support their expansion plans.
Aptos was founded by former Meta employees who set out to create a fast, reliable, and reliable network.
