All 50 states call on Congress to address AI-generated CSAM

The Attorneys General from all 50 states want Congress to establish a commission dedicated to investigating the effects of AI on child exploitation.

In a letter to Congress, they ask for legislation that will specifically address preventing the creation of AI-generated child sexual abuse material and expanding the restrictions on CSAM to explicitly cover AI-generated CSAM.

The US government has already begun evaluating some of the risks associated with AI, according to the report.

However, there are still no solid plans to implement sweeping laws to control the use of AI.

It seems that the European Union is already doing much of the heavy lifting in regulating this area, as well as many of the other artificial intelligence issues related to its citizens’ rightsCopyright infringement lawsuits.
