At this point, some may wonder why an MFA isn’t just added to the AD authentication process, as is done with Saas apps.
Our answer is that it’s too expensive to implement.
Either way, adversaries can simply compromise an AD server and gain access from there.
As long as an authentication to AD is carried out, AD will forward this to Silverfort and protection will be in place.
